— What Wealth Inequality in America Looks Like: Key Facts & Figures, stlouisfed.org
“ Despite some fluctuation, the large racial and ethnic wealth gaps remain essentially unchanged when looking at white/black and white/Hispanic families. In 2016, the typical white family had about 10 times the wealth of the typical black family and about 7.5 times the wealth of the typical Hispanic family.”
Formula & Diaper Drive
On Feb. 17, 2022, Abbott recalled some of their powder “infant” formula manufactured at its Sturgis facility. The recall included only a single batch of Similac PM 60/40. During the investigation, the metabolic nutrition formulas, and all other batches of Similac PM 60/40 were placed on hold.
Due to this nationwide shortage, we are asking for your help. Some mothers are unable to produce the necessary breast milk to feed their infants/babies, there are single fathers taking care of their infants/babies with no mothers, certain infants/babies have health issues that require the ingredients from the formula, financial burdens, and more.
From June 1 to December 31, 2022, Moore 4 More will be collecting formula and diaper donations for crisis nurseries and other organizations helping families during this difficult time. We are hoping by provide these items it will not only help families in need but ease some of the financial burdens these families are facing.
